When we communicate, we need to structure our thoughts into a coherent, organized form. We then transfer this information to others via a communication medium - speech or writing. We do this to achieve important goals that we have set for this communication.
In this sense, computer Programming and Coding is also a form of communication - it involves structured thought intended to communicate ideas to others in order to achieve a desired result. In addition, this communication (code) can also be processed (run) by a computer.
"People think that Coding is something that we do to make Computers do what we want. Actually, Coding is more about people - it is a structured form of thinking, an expression of our ideas that enables us to share and communicate ideas with other people." - Varghese John
