Gilda's Photos From the U.S. Open Tennis Grand Slam

Last week, I attended the U.S. Open tennis tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, NY.  Here are photos that I took of some of the great players in action:

Italy's Flavia Pennetta almost flying to hit a return

U.S.Open 2009 Champion Juan Martin Del Potro,
fighting his way back after an injury derailed his career

France's Gilles Simon was able to overpower Del Potro

American John Isner had a great run at this year's U.S. Open,
making it to the Quarterfinals where he lost in 4 sets to Andy Murray

The Men's Doubles powerhouse team
of Rohan Bopanna (from India) and Aisam-Ul-Haq (from Pakistan),
 after winning their Quarterfinals match
(also known as the "Indo-Pak Express")

Today is the men's finals between 2010 US Open champion Rafael Nadal and world #1 Novak Djovokic - it should be a great match!
